Okells is very easy to find, based just outside Chester, on the A51 between Tarvin and Tarporley.

We open year-round, apart from New Years Day, Easter Sunday, Christmas Day and Boxing Day
Our car par is free for all our customers. It can get busy so if you're looking to avoid the rush, we tend to be busiest at lunch times and on weekends.
We have multiple disabled parking spots just outside the main entrance to our garden centre and these are welcome to any blue badge holders.
Unfortunately, due to the limited size of our car park, we do not have space for coach parking.
Absolutely! Feel free to leave your bike outside the Coffee Shop.
Yes you can. If you would like to borrow a wheelchair then please ask on arrival.
We try our absolute best to be as accessible and inclusive as possible. There is step-free access across our site. If you are planning a visit and have any particular questions then please get in touch at contact@okellsgardencentre.co.uk.
We do not take bookings, however, even at our busiest, we will do our best to find you a space as soon as possible. If you want to avoid a wait then early or late is best!
We have plenty of outdoor tables outside the Coffee Shop.
Planning to bring the dog along with you? Dogs are very welcome too.

Coffee, cold drinks, cakes and sandwiches are all available to take away with you, in sustainable packaging.
All are welcome at Okells, dogs included.
We ask that all dogs remain on their lead and off the furniture.
Our helpful gardening team are on hand to get you started. Take note of the type of garden you have - North or South facing? Bright or shady? - and we can advise on what will grow best, and how to keep it looking beautiful.
